Quality Installation is key
When looking for a PPF installer, its best to find one that is willing to "bulk" install the film to insure maximum coverage. Using a plotter or precut PPF can leave a lot of exposed paint which will not maximize your investment.
High Quality PPF Films
The highest quality PPF film is between 8mil and 10mil of thickness. Anything thinner could still allow rocks and other hazards to break through the film damaging your paint. Known high quality film brands are Suntek and Stek! There are more in the market but when it comes to high quality finish, gloss or matte, thickness, self-healing and hydrophobic Suntek and Stek are the market leaders.
Paint correction is a very important part of the process.
